In the early days of Wongraven Wines, there was an ambition to complement the portfolio of quality wines with craft beer, but it did not materialize until 2020 with the Wongraven Saison. Kjetil Jikiun, who co-founded the famous Nøgne Ø brewery in the early 2000s is the consultant brewmaster and Sigurd Wongraven supervises the process and the style from the perspective of a wine lover. So, perhaps it comes as no surprise that the Wongraven Saison is vinous in style with great emphasis on freshness, fruit and balance. Expect more craft beers to follow.
